The Santa Fe Swimming Club is a private recreational club for the use of its members and their guests. We are located a block from Ocean Drive and the Corpus Christi Bay, nestled in the Lamar Park neighborhood. Although membership is available to all Corpus Christi area residents, membership is limited to 275 families and applicants must be approved prior to joining and sponsored by two current Santa Fe members.
Our club consists of a private, crystal clear, 5 lane outdoor pool with a shallow kiddy platform with fountain, water slide, deep-end diving well with diving board, tennis and basketball court, ping-pong & fooseball tables, our own little library, a "snack shack" filled with goodies, covered picnic areas, indoor and outdoor showers, and changing rooms. Our pool has lifeguards on duty at all times. We offer our members and guests designated times for early bird lap swimming, swimming lessons for all ages and skill levels, a summer swim team, tennis clinics, fitness classes, and all-club events like family fun nights and private party rentals. Our swim season runs longer than most because we keep our pool heated in the cooler months of the spring and fall.
The Santa Fe Swimming Club is a non-profit organization overseen by 9 members who sit on an elected Board of Directors and managed by Aquatics Director Julie Bickham. Julie has been with SFSC since 2018 and has over 20 years experience in the aquatics industry. Julie is a certified pool operator, lifeguard instructor and has a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M College Station in Recreation, Park & Tourism Sciences.
Santa Fe truly is not only the "best swimming hole in Corpus Christi" but a magical place where time stands still and you can soak it all in while you soak in the sun!
