Trained To Save Lives.

SFSC Aquatics Director, Jessica Hinojosa, is an American Red Cross Instructor who offers certification classes to the community including Lifeguarding, CPR, Basic Water Safety.

Lifeguard Certification:  Jessica teaches a blended learning style class which combines online learning with in-person skills sessions where you will practice skills and demonstrate competency. Successful completion of all eLearning modules, including the CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid final eLearning exam, in-person skills sessions and pre-requisite swimming tests results in 2 year ARC certifications - Lifeguarding, First Aid, AED and CPR for the Professional Rescuer.  These certifications are recognized at most aquatic facilities nationwide and will prepare you for a lifeguarding job.  Participants must be at least 15 years of age, complete all online content and pass swim tests to participate.

Lifeguards are in high demand in Corpus Christi, but positions fill up quickly.  Don't wait until summer to get certified!
